Before I started ballroom dancing, I was an intrinsic male who wanted to try something new in my life.  I took group lessons for months and still did not have the courage to get up and ask a woman to dance.  Thankfully the ballroom dancing community is made of genuine, caring people who got me to get out of my intrinsic “shell” and I have been dancing ever since.  Now I am much more outgoing, understand women better, and can burn the dance floor for hours (which feels like minutes).  I created this site coming from a dance enthusiast point of view – I’m not a teacher, don’t own a studio, and am solely creating awareness of this life-changing activity.  If you are new to dancing, I highly suggest taking a few group lessons and understand the various dances out there.
